Increasing Our Commitment to California Disaster Relief
Helping community members impacted by the mudslides.
It is almost unimaginable to see the deluge of deadly mudslides impacting Santa Barbara County this week in the wake of the devastating wildfires there just a few weeks ago. Our thoughts are with our employees, our customers and the community that continues to endure so much.
In the midst of frantic search and rescue/recovery efforts, we want to spotlight our colleagues who have worked tirelessly to keep our branches open and serve the community during this difficult time.
To support Southern California, we are contributing an additional $75,000 to disaster relief, following the $500,000 contribution we made last month.
The new contribution will go to the Thomas Fire and Flood Fund, a collaborative between the United Way of Santa Barbara County and United Way of Ventura County and other funders for shelter, meals, relief supplies, health services and long-term recovery support.
As Santa Barbara County works to recover and rebuild, we will be there to support our employees, our customers and the community.
