JPMorgan Chase Pledges $1 million to Respond to California Wildfires

The donation will support relief, recovery and rebuilding.

As the wildfire season in California continues with deadly and devastating results, JPMorgan Chase is giving a total of $1 million to the North Valley Community Foundation Camp Fire Evacuation Relief Fund, United Way of Greater Los Angeles’ Disaster Relief Fund for Hill and Woolsey Fires, and the Ventura County Community Foundation in order to help with overall relief, recovery and rebuilding efforts.

In addition, we are automatically waiving or refunding certain fees, including late and overdraft fees, for consumer customers in Butte and Ventura counties and the affected areas of Los Angeles County. We are also working individually with customers in need.

“We are monitoring the impact on our customers and communities, and will continue supporting them in the coming weeks” said Peter Engel, chair of the California Operating Committee at JPMorgan Chase.
