JPMorgan Chase to Support Communities Affected by California Wildfires

JPMorgan Chase stands by our friends and colleagues across California impacted by the wildfires. As the state braces for yet another fire season, this can be an unsettling time of year for so many Californians.

To support resilience and relief efforts for the communities affected by the fires, the firm is making an initial commitment of $1M, including to the Community Foundation of Sonoma County and the California Community Foundation, to serve Southern California.

In addition, to help strengthen and improve the resilience of California’s communities, we are making a $1M philanthropic investment to support the California Resilience Challenge and Outsmart Disaster. These efforts will help communities across California access the resources they need to plan and prepare for droughts, wildfires, flooding and extreme heat, and enable businesses to become better prepared for natural disasters.
