Our Support for Maui

On August 8, devastating wildfires broke out in Lahaina in west Maui, representing the deadliest U.S. wildfire in over a century – forcing thousands to evacuate, and leaving many without access to basic needs. Our thoughts are with all those who have been affected, both directly and indirectly, by this heartbreaking tragedy.

To support relief and recovery efforts, JPMorgan Chase is making a philanthropic commitment to help bolster local efforts to provide critical services to those most impacted. The firm has also launched an employee matching campaign and will match employee donations dollar-for-dollar to select organizations to maximize our collective impact.

We’ve also automatically waived or refunded certain banking fees and provided other requested assistance to clients in the affected area.

During difficult times like these, the firm is committed to harnessing our resources to help those in need, and we will continue to monitor the situation and stay in close contact in impacted areas.
