Following the attack on Israel on October 7 and resulting war, JPMorgan Chase leadership has been closely monitoring this developing and tragic situation.

To support humanitarian relief efforts, the firm is making an initial $1.5 million philanthropic contribution to support organizations working to provide relief for impacted civilians in the region. Given how rapidly this humanitarian crisis is unfolding, it is actively considering how to best deploy philanthropic resources and other assistance during this incredibly difficult time, in close coordination with business leaders and local organizations in the region and across the firm.

It will also match employee donations dollar-for-dollar to select organizations to maximize the firm’s collective impact.
