Supporting Relief and Recovery Efforts in Beirut
The horrific explosion in Beirut has been devastating to the country and its people. Our heartfelt thoughts are with the many who suffered from this catastrophe.
To help with relief and recovery efforts, J.P. Morgan is committing a total of $100,000 to two organizations that are providing critical services to the people of Lebanon. This support will help International Medical Corps (IMC) provide mental health services and deliver urgently needed health, sanitation and hygiene supplies to local shelters. The funds will also help the Lebanese Red Cross provide emergency relief and long-term support to the affected communities.
“During times such as these, it is important that we come together and help those who need it the most,” said Khaled Hobballah and Karim Tannir, co-Senior Country Officers for the region, in a note to employees.
