Our support for Jackson
A version of the below note was sent to all employees in The Mid-South
Dear Colleagues,
We have continued to monitor the situation in Jackson, Mississippi, as community members have been left without reliable drinking water.
To help with relief and recovery efforts, the firm is increasing its commitment to a total of $120,000 to support United Way of The Capital Area and World Central Kitchen. This commitment includes our initial $20,000 philanthropic contribution to United Way made earlier this month to support relief efforts. The funds will bolster efforts to coordinate a local response to meet the immediate basic needs of those who have been most impacted.
Our thoughts remain with all those who are navigating this water shortage, and those who may be indirectly impacted.
We will continue to stay in touch in impacted areas, and work to support local efforts to find a long-term solution.
