Our Support for New York and New Jersey Following Hurricane Ida

We are all shaken by the devastating impact Hurricane Ida. We recognize many of our community members and some of our employees have been affected, either directly or indirectly, by this disaster.

To support relief, recovery and rebuilding efforts, JPMorgan Chase has committed $200K to a variety of organizations, listed below. These funds will provide immediate and urgent relief to the vulnerable communities heavily impacted by the hurricane in New York and New Jersey, where many homes and businesses have been damaged or destroyed. 

In addition to immediate disaster relief, we continue to invest in community resilience, supporting initiatives that help communities better prepare for natural disasters and manage the aftermath. The firm has set a target to finance $2.5 trillion over the next 10 years — including $1 trillion for green activities — to address climate change and support sustainable development.

Our hope is that these commitments support those impacted in rebuilding what was lost.
