$10 million for the Ukraine humanitarian crisis

A version of the following note was shared with all employees globally.

Colleagues,

As the war in Ukraine continues, a growing population has been left without access to basic needs and over 5 million people have fled their homes in Ukraine. To help address changing needs in the region, the firm is increasing our philanthropic commitment to $10 million.

Our additional commitment of up to $5 million will support The Chamber of Commerce of the Polish Hotel Industry (IGHP) as they work to provide temporary shelter for the growing number of refugees in Poland through access to hotel rooms as well as information and guidance on access to other assistance and longer-term housing, in coordination with member hotels, non-profits and local governments.

We also want to acknowledge the incredible generosity and compassion demonstrated by so many of our colleagues. We are so inspired and proud of how the JPMorgan Chase community has stepped up to help, volunteering their time and resources to support those in need. The firm is continuing to match employee donations to select humanitarian relief organizations.

Our deepest sympathies go out to all of those in the region, including the members of our JPMorgan Chase communities, and our thoughts remain with those around the world who have been impacted.

Thank you for continuing to support each other during these uncertain times.
